Mom today is your 40th birthday
and you are finally over the hill
I used to promise you that you would make it through.
I used to promise you a party like no other I used to promise a party for only that one special mother. But now the days go by and the leaves all change and I can not celebrate your 40th birthday. Me with you can never be you will never blow out the candles you see. I know that you are still with me and I know that you still care but I can't help to keep on thinking that you are not here. My best birthday present would be to have you as my man. The reason why is cuz you treat me right and make me feel like I am wanted.
