On this special day I wrote you a poem
A poem for you to read as you turn 14
You're one of my 2 best friends
And we've known each other 4 ages it may seem
For the length of time you've been in my life
I write this poem to thank you
Me and Kez wouldn't be complete
We wouldn't be the 3 musketeers with 2!
This poem was wrote for my friend Becky
On the 11th November 2004
It's for the one person I want to thank
Becky, the friend I adore
Enjoy this day with all your heart
Cause you deserve oh so much
For you, Becky, are my best friend
And we know we'll keep in touch
I'm dreading the day we go our separate ways
And head off to collage to make new friends
I don't want new friends I want you and Kez
I hope our friendship never ends
But we know it'll soon come
Quicker than we think
One day I'll be writing a poem for your 18th b-day
When we all get to drink (yey!)
But until that day we'll stay good friends
Through the bumpy roads of school years
We all know that it's going to be tough
Then when you do reach 18, we can celebrate with beers!
